Deva is a Sanscrit word meaning “deity” used for any benevolent supernatural being. In Hindu cosmology, the devas are also in charge of maintaining order. They are also the masculine energy of the divinity which requires female energy or devi to manifest itself. A wise man, with affinity for cosmology, who knows the divinity inside people and is respectful with devas.
“May the drops enter you as rivers flow into the sea.”
From permanent consciousness, like a huge cloud where everything is sustained, wisdom falls like rain that impregnates humans to go beyond. The mind has sought for all time the infinity it has found in its silence. Between thought and thought there is silence. Melting into it and being aware of it is freedom; infinity; the mother that feeds all the rain.
There is an invisible web, like music, linking it all together with the subtlety of formless beauty. Like glass that mists up with existence but to which clean transparency slowly returns.
